Fell Dyke Community Primary School serves the children, families and community of Wrekenton and hosts High Fell Children's Centre and Little Treasures Day Nursery. We provide high quality teaching and learning for all pre-school and primary aged children, alongside baby clinics; mother and toddler sessions; speech and language programmes; adult education and wrap-around-care.

We provide all of our children with excellent basic skills, together with the knowledge and attitudes to enable them to be lifelong learners and active members of the local community. Our achievements include: the Basic Skills Quality Mark; the national Healthy School Status; the Sports England Activemark; the FA Charter Mark, the Silver Artsmark and two Impetus Awards for Shared Values in Action.

We have first class facilities on our school site. Recent additions include: an outdoor multi use games area (the MUGA); an outdoor amphitheatre for performances; a multi-sensory garden; two trim trails; a reconditioned hall with demountable staging and a sophisticated lighting and sound system; climbing frames and parallel bars to keep our children fit and healthy and a new suite of admin offices.
